The feeling of being lost amid the noise and industrial chaos of Tehran.

A piece based on urban sounds recorded in Tehran on a busy day in the city center, transformed through electronic and computer-based composition techniques, featuring a piano whose sound is continuously altered by digital effects. The piano accompanies the fixed media, adding a multilayered texture to the work.

(Vampyroteuthis infernalis, lit. 'vampire squid from hell') is a small cephalopod found throughout temperate and tropical oceans in extreme deep sea conditions.

Sea pens are marine cnidarians belonging to the superfamily Pennatuloidea, which are colony-forming benthic filter feeders within the order Scleralcyonacea.

A Composition for Santoor (Persian traditional instrument) and electronics, using Iranian traditional motives and extended techniques.

Glaucus atlanticus is a species of sea slug in the family Glaucidae. These sea slugs live in the pelagic zone, where they float upside-down by using the surface tension of the water to stay afloat. In addition, they have a gas bubble in their stomach that makes it easier for them to float.

A siphonophore is a member of the order Siphonophorae. According to the World Register of Marine Species, the order contains 175 species described thus far. Siphonophores are highly polymorphic and complex organisms.

The flameback sea slug is a species of nudibranch called Phidiana lottini, native to the west coast of South America. These marine slugs are known for their vibrant colors and are part of the family Facelinidae. 

A composition for solo piano utilizing serialist methods.

"In Nematocyst Variations, the strict laws of serialism mirror the biological imperatives of the nudibranch. Just as the animal recycles the stinging cells of its prey for its own defense, this piece 'recycles' the same 12 notes, constantly reordering them to create armor, color, and movement."
